Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vidso app for iOS. Vidso is operated by Sels AI Inc. ("Vidso", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Vidso you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Vidso.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Vidso. By using the service you represent that you are 18 or older and able to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. On mobile you may start using Vidso with a guest session; creating a full account with Apple or Google lets you keep your work across devices. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. The service and credits

Vidso lets you generate images and video using AI. Generating media consumes credits. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable except where required by law. Subscription plans include a credit allowance for each billing period, and you can buy additional credit packs. The amount of credit a given generation consumes is shown in the product and may change as our models and costs change.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Vidso offers auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time credit purchases. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are described in full in our Subscription Policy, which is part of these Terms. Purchases made in the app are processed by Apple through your Apple ID and are also subject to Apple's terms.

5. Your content and license to us

You keep ownership of the photos, images, audio, and video you upload ("Your Content"). You grant Vidso a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content and the media generated from it, solely to operate and provide the service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies retained as required by law or in routine backups for a limited time.

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that you own it or have all rights and permissions needed to use it, including the consent of any identifiable person who appears in it. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission.

6. AI-generated output

Subject to these Terms and to the terms of the underlying model providers, you may use the media you generate, including for commercial purposes. AI output can be imperfect, may contain artifacts, and may not be unique; similar outputs may be generated for other users. Vidso output is provided for your own creative use and is not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing output before you use or publish it and for ensuring it complies with applicable law and the policies of any platform where you share it. We may apply labels or provenance signals to AI-generated content, and you may not remove or obscure them.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Vidso to create, upload, or share content that:

• is illegal, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
• sexualizes minors in any way, or depicts non-consensual sexual content;
• depicts a real, identifiable person without their consent, including deepfakes intended to mislead or to impersonate;
• harasses, threatens, defames, or promotes hatred or violence against others;
• infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; or
• attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent the security of the service.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Intellectual property

Vidso, including the software, design, and branding, is owned by Sels AI Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose. If you send us feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or obligation to you.

9. Copyright and DMCA

We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe content on Vidso infringes your copyright, email hello@vidso.ai with a description of the work, the location of the material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement. We may remove the material and terminate repeat infringers.

10. Disclaimers

Vidso is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service or its output. Your use of Vidso is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vidso and Sels AI Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vidso and Sels AI Inc. from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of Your Content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.

13. Termination

You may stop using Vidso and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as the license you grant us for retained copies, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will survive.

14. Apple App Store

Vidso is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA governs with respect to your use of the app on Apple devices. The following also applies:

• This agreement is between you and Sels AI Inc. only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
• Sels AI Inc., not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and consumer protection claims.
• Sels AI Inc., not Apple, is responsible for investigating and resolving any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not in a country subject to a US embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any US government restricted-parties list.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Vidso will try to resolve any dispute informally first by contacting hello@vidso.ai. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled on an individual basis; you and Vidso waive the right to participate in a class action, except where this waiver is not permitted by law.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email and update the date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
